Is it me or is a stock 07 zx 10 faster than my lightly modded 14?
I have owned and rode several liter bikes but for some reason my buddies stock 10 feels so much faster. It must be the seating position or something is just makes my piped pcd 14 feel slow. If the 07 are this quick the 08s must be nasty.

+1 Your 14 is just as fast. My fiance rides an '08 Gixxer Thou with a slip-on/PC3 all that. Here bike _feels_ more violent and quick than my '08 14, but its just because of how much smaller it is. My 14 is quiet and smooth and STABLE lol, and is just as fast.

line them up, switch riders, line the up again, do roll ons to make it even, that will give you an idea

Its you dude,trust me!got a buddy with a 06 zx10 that weighs 180.i weigh 230 and i walk away from him.he has a m10 with a pc3 air filter and various other mods.it does'nt matter he still dont hold a candle to the 14.so dont be fooled!

The difference is not THAT huge, the 14 comes out on top a little.
It feels slower because of the bigger motor and less of a powerband, the zx10 will feel like it has a turbo so once you hit that 8-9k rpm it will start pulling extremly hard out of nowhere, while zx14 power delivery is smooth.

with the flies out the 14 has so much more grunt out of the corners, i have to make sure there are no litre bikes in front of me before i hit the gas. the litre bikes go once they are wound up and go hard. all these bikes fly.
