Shit fellas, he had me. I'm still new to the bike modding side of things, there's a better chance of me picking the winning lottery numbers than spotting a zx12 stroker kit where a zx14 stroker kit is claimed. Hindsight is 20/20... all in all, I'm just glad there's a site like this where you guys can spot the BS'ers so quickly.
The part that pisses me off was pointed out by AZ ZX14: "Alot of the things this guy said were a reach. I don't care who you are but everything doesn't just fall into place so smoothly, and turn out the be the best and fastest."
Just like any other sport where custom building and modding to the extreme are the goal, things NEVER go together as planned, and the sought after results usually end up as a moving target thats leaves guys like me frustrated as hell when we find that shaving the corners off the square peg still dont allow it to fit in the round hole. Even with a bigger hammer...
For those of you who manage what guys like me cant, who make a nearly stock 14 run inthe 8's, or a turbo bike survive on the streets, or make a pile of parts in your garage turn into the dream bike you envisioned, you rightly deserve the recognition this fool sought. Posers like him that try to lessen what you've done only raises my opinion of you all.

Well I take it that non of you guys seen him at sunshine or anything like that! As a matter of fact, this jive turkey didn't even come back to the board. I'll make it even better for you ole buddy, since you want to put b.s up, How about you and I lock up a race. Now my 14 is down but the Honda is not. I will run you heads up 1/4 or 8th. All I have is a stock motor CBR1000 but I am shooting both stages and you bring your big motor 14. Now that is an insult to your 14 right there so what are you going to do about it? Lock is what ever you want to run for. Now Jack the (*&^ up. This is an official call out!

She did mention that a time or two. I'm still trying to decide if I am going to get some airbrushing done on mine later. If I do I'm sure there will be some people that don't like it as well. I'll make sure it doesn't look like I just painted everything that could come off in five minutes though.

Makes ya wonder whats true... hmm No zx 14, no wreck, no impossible rebuild in days, ( good this new color doesnt exist) except in pill form. I'm going to read posts from two years ago. now theres good reading

I'm with ya on that one,
the forum has become a bore, very diluted with old news and begginner info.
............ and every yuppie jumping on the bandwagon after they saw the 08 busa was not the bike everyone expected....
In the beginning of the zx14 life, in 06, it was die hard fans mostly with good wrenching and riding experience under their belts to share , now it seems just seems like new guys with old news....thinking its some revelation! LOL

Read the owners manual guys..... damn!

+200 I thought i was imagining that myself,but like they say the proof is in the pudding!when the new busa came out everyone was selling parts off of their 14's putting them back stock,but after the smoke cleared;it was like a light was turned back on and they could see again.and thats my honest opinion!

From what I'm seeing the Busa, not the 14, is the bandwagon that everyone is jumping on. Don't get me wrong, I'm okay with that. Something about everyone going one way that makes me want to go the other, its just that I'm not seeing some mass disappointment with the Busa. Are you guy's?

He's trading his 14 in for a Busa. I pity the unsuspecting buyer. He'll ride it for a while, eventually getting fed up with all of the other 14 riders he sees pointing at him and cracking up. Of course, this will force him to also trade it in for a Busa. And so it will go, until someone finally breaks the curse and repaints the bike.
