No Spark
Hi guys...........I have this posted in the 12R forum...........but there are a lot of talented technicians in this forum also................
Am working on a 2005 ZX12R that has no spark. It also is giving me an error code 62. Yep........62......... The service manual only gives codes up to 54........... Checked all the fuses, vehicle down sensor, etc............to no avail.
Any ideas?...............

Hey diverig, it's not mine but a customers. Yes he has a power commander but I have unplugged it to eliminate that possibility. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Try changing out the ecu,if you have one on hand, I guess you would have already tryed this now that i think about it. I had one do the same thing'' setting a code that did not relate! This is why i mentioned it. I can check and see if i have one, if i do your welcome to try it'' you pay shipping. Bill......

Have you eliminated any safety devices which prevent starting, such as the kill button, kick stand switch etc?
