Dyno Drags What A Joke!!!
Just thought i would share this with everyone, wasted a good part of my day at the dyno drags. My buddy has an 07 zx10r and I have my 07 zx14 we figured just for fun we would put our bikes up on the dyno drags and the local bike show!!! Now we both now the numbers arnt right but what the hell all the harley guys there talking about their big numbers we figured we would show them some real numbers!!! The line was long, we registered, paid, weighed, and waited for 2 and half hrs, There were 2 races too go before we were up and some buddy of the owner of the dyno machine starts talking smack about how much hp his harley makes and runs nines brings his bike to the front of the line and starts calling people out!!! My buddy looks at me and we both start laughing, time to but this guy back into reality, i answered his call, but They say after 2.5 hrs of waiting i cant run because i took my rear pegs off... Ok i told the guy strap to my subframe!!, we cant do that your brocks short meg will melt my straps that bike makes too much power we need the rear pegs to strap it. Ok so i watched them strap bikes down the angle of the strap wouldnt even go infront of the pipe so i raised hell and got nowhere! got my refund i was pissed after waiting all that time. So the harley guy does his runs yes impressed ran a 9.80 good for a stock lookin harley, in which they strapped behind the exhaust pipe!!! lol . Ok so my wife and i decide to run her 08 stock Gsxr 1000 found out why he didnt want my bike on there, When her her bike took off the front end of the bike jumped about six inches off the trailer ran 9.5 et 166 hp... eat that harley guy!! So the way we saw it that machine couldnt handle a real bike with real power, so next year im gone down should have atleast a 30 shot and rear pegs let you know the outcome next year!!

they were skeered! dynos, what a great way to flat spot (ruin) a good tire.

That 9.80 harley would be a 10.80 to low 11's at the track.

come to find out it was an S&S engine, but you guys are right high 10s low 11s on the track. Funny thing about it was when they lowered the bikes off the dyno trailer the harley wouldnt start they had to push it away!!!
