Paint Bubbling

As I was filling up the bike over the weekend I spilled a little on the tank. I thought no biggie I will wipe it off after I pay. After only 2 or 3 minuted the paint bubbled and some paint wiped right off. WTF. Has this happened to anyone elso or is this just my bad luck. I know this should not have happened this easy unless there was a paint issue.
I contacted the dealer today and they are emailing Kawasaki the pics. Do you think they will warranty the paint???

My gas vent hose was blocked and gas overflowed onto the tank. I wiped it many times with no plaric pain peel. However, the metal below the gas cap all peel off. The dealer won't do anything because it does not aesthetically change the "visible" look.
Yours is "visible" and should be replaced. Good luck!

so a blown motor, as long as there is not a visible hole in the block, doesn't change the "visible" look of the bike and should not be replaced????

I am calling BS on the "visible" excuse......

Man, I can't believe this but I suspected as much from Kawi.

They left my bike facked up on a warranty deal (or in all fairness I should say it was in the shop multiple times for the same reason and I dumped it next time it happened). Then I got a PM from a guy with the same chit on his as happened on mine and he asked me for a letter because he was letting his attorney handle it.
