Nitrogen filled tyres
I went to the tyre shop to check pressures recently and the guy recommended I use nitrogen rather than air. Benefits are said to include less leakage and cooler running (which may or may not be a benefit). has anyone any experience or knowledge of this?

I use Nitrogen. Doesn't swell like air does when you do a burnout, so pressure remains 'near' constant. Its dryer than air, which is why I use it for my air shifter too.

I am also curious about the nitrogen. Is the ride smoother?. What about cornerning?. What are the pro's and con's?.

I've been using nitrogen for a couple seasons Drag Racing now...
I get the Nitrogen air from my local COSTCO wholesale tire shop...They are more than happy to fill up my air tank!!!
I use it in the front and rear...The air pressure is very consistant, predictable and never loses air !!!...Once you see how the air reacts to how you ride, it performs the same every time you use it...
Hope that helps!!!

Thanks for your comments - I'll give it a good road test when the weather warms up - winter here.
