Burnout takes the win on his ZX14 !!!!!!!!!

Burnout , Teddy and myself headed to Lakeland drag strip for an all bike race ...It was 98 Degs and we all were ready to pass out from the heat .. The track was slick as hell , my bike at stock wheel base was the only bike that hooked ... Teddy and Burnout were spinning like crazy .... Teddy and I got put out first round , Teddy had a very close race but the other rider just nipped Teddy at the finish line ... My first round i killed the guy on the 60 foot and thought i had the guy covered till i went 12:00 Oclock wheely and had to let off ...The guy just drove away as i dumped the throttle ...

The star of the show was Burnout ... He didn't even want to race and i talked him into it ... Even with the spinning he ran his numbers every pass ...Burnout took first place in Super Pro ... !!!!!!!!! He was on kill and took out all comers .... Chalk up a another win for the zx14 !!!

Way to ride Chris ( Burnout )

Thanks Sticks ... Really it was so hot at the track i didn't even want to be there ...I told Teddy and Burnout i was going to red lite first round so i could go home .. They thought i was joking but i was not joking .... I was never so happy to lose a first round in my life , i got in my truck and turned up the A/C and hauled ass home ..
I got home and Teddy had called , he said Burnout had left he wallet, phone and keys in my trailer ...I said crap i'm going to have to head back to the track ( 60 miles ) ... I spent an hour looking in my trailer for his Phone ,wallet and keys and could not find them ... I called Teddy back and he said they found them ..I was like ( Mother @!^&($#^&#@$^!!!!!) ... I think Burnout owes me Dinner ..... .....

i must have got there right after you left, i got off at 4pm and rode over. i4 was like a blast furnace. drove all around the pits and didn't see you, so i figured you made an early exit. mike won the the street class on his wife's vrod with a breakout 7.53 after the POS suzuki from daytona next to him broke on the line. i hung out with mike and ed as they shared their a/c from the motor homes. then my buddy john with the bandit and i graced the lakeland hooters with our presence on the way home. that music they play on the loudspeaker at the lakeland track is worse than what i hear out on the causeway on lowrider night. oh well it was a good ride even if smokin did wuss out early.

Nightmare and a friend showed up right after you left. Said he is going to make it out to SunShine on Wednesday. Burnout was riding his ass off. Very good reaction times and was within a hundreth or 2 on every pass. He took out a wheelie bar bike for the win. Will post up a winning pic in a bit.

As a matter of fact, when I was pulling into the track, smokin was leaving. Burnout asked me for help finding a good line and I did my best to get him lined up in the perfect spot. He made that thing hook up beautiful everytime. He took the win chopping the throttle. It was very nice meeting you guys burnout and steddy teddy and friend. bigtdt, I didn't see you but hope to get to meet you soon too! I will make sunshine. And I will post pictures later!

Smokin', thanks for diggin through everything, I definitely owe you. Maybe it was the heat but I was a mess. I finally found my truck keys in the tower. I kept going up there between rounds to get some AC because I felt like I was going to pass out. I think I ended up drinking 2 gallons of water throughout the day.

Nightmare was a huge help lining me up--couldn't have done it without him. He lined me up for the last 3 rounds and I didn't spin once.

Teddy, thanks for the shade, that canopy was worth it's weight in gold.

The funny thing was that the guy driving the bar bike with electronics turned out to be the guy who had originally signed for my NHRA license. I kept calling him Sensei, then I busted an .020 light on him in the finals. I also managed to bag a perfect light on a shakedown run earlier in the day.

Wow you got a perfect light earlier that day. That is amazing. You are going to be a force to deal with once you get just a little more seat time. I know I am shaking as of right now.
