no G, its just the single fan pushing the air out the right hand side. Bout all you can do is buy one giant fan or run dual fans to lessen the amount of heat in the engine bay.
Or better yet ya future skin transplantee, how about wearing pants when you are riding???

that problem went away for me on both bikes once I got that factory crap off and the full systems on. and the titanium on the R1 runs so much cooler than the stainless on my old 14.
if you have the stock header/collector you've got better heat emissions than grandma's favorite skillet

My bike also ran cooler when going to the full exhaust. Anyone know why Kawi designed a one fan system on the ZX14 while designing a two fan system on the Concours. Doesn't make much sense, the ZX produces more HP which translates to more heat. I think they got this one backwards.

Dual fans? Where does a person get one. Is it a kit? Would an exhaust wrap help? Thanks guys, for all your help.

When it breaks in more it gets better... and getting the cats off really helps!!! I don't think that the second fan is necesary and it takes off some weight. to have just one... (I think that is why there is only one.) I do realize that a second fan may make sense for most of us, but Kawi definately wanted to keep the lbs down. Mny people used an after market additive called something like water wetter. For me, once I changed the pipes to the full MUZZY system I have no complaints about heat. The only thing that I wish is that they had the fan run without the key on. When I stop riding and let the bike sit, it really gets hot. I leave the key on for awhile or turn on my big garage fan on the bike to assist. Many times when I stop riding the fan will be off and after it sits for a few minutes and I turn on the key, the fan kicks on.

I put the 14 through it most changing conditions ride since I've had this weekend. Friday night rode to Indianapolis from Cincinnati sun was going down arrived at first destination right before dark Temp guage was just above half. Left to comeback around 130am temp was about 70 degrees nice cool breeze through intake gauge was at half. Saturday about 130 Pm left for Toledo every bit of 90 degrees or better temp gauge was a two bars below top go caught in rain just outside Toledo until arrived at hotel. Nice comfortable ride was in a group of twelve other bikes so was not able to get out and opended up like I wanted to on those long straight aways but bike did well I'm over 5000 miles now so time for another oil change. I am going to ass water wetter to my coolant I use Engine Ice already but adding the water wetter will degreese my running temp even more.
