Buells are the way to go. I would stay away from the Corbin peg lowering kit... been there, done that!

How do them Buells hurt your cornering clearance though? 6'5" 36" inseam here and I dont really have any gripes about the stock height, but I'm into cornering more than comfort so I'm probably just used to cramped legs.

Last summer I spent a week doing 500 miler days in the Smokies and my chicken strips was about 1/8 Inch. I have also slipped the forks 1 in and used the adjustable dog bones to drop the rear an inch to match. Did tighten the rear shock spring about 2 turns or so. I am not the greatest rider around but at 69 I thought it was pretty good, an really had a blast. The Buels made the 500 milers an easy do, and dont think I hit the feelers but a couple of times.

No matter what you do unless, you get rid of the exhaust, interference with your heel, andf the exhaust will become an issue, when lowering, and moving the pegs backward for more legroom.
The most you will gain is maybe an inch, before your heel burns on the pipe

Picked up a set of Buell pegs from the local Harley dealer for $25 plus tax and followed the pdf directions. Worked perfectly and very easy to do.
Was funny pulling up to the Harley dealer on my Red 06 ZX14. All the other bikes there were black, chrome and covered with leather crap of one kind or another. Inside, I was the only guy there without a skull cap, beard, tattoos (mine doesnt show), sleeveless black t-shirt and a pot belly. It was interesting to say the least. Got a few dirty looks from guys in the parking lot so I made sure I did a little wheelie on the way out...ha !!!!
