Mounting Power Commander under 08 seat?
Yo1
I was posting on another topic about this issue, thought I'd run it by you guys.
I want to mount my PC-III under the seat, but the plugs are huge and will not route from the seat section to the injector connector. I hate that thing on my left Ram tube.
anyone mounted their PC-III under the seat? If so please provide detailed instructions.
Thx,
-B

Bill the painter from New York.... mounted his under the seat. I believe that he ran it through the frame on the right side under the tank. You would have to call him. He used to be a sponsor but I have not heard from him. I asked him about it before I got my PC3 and he said it was really tight and not easy.. but it worked perfect. I believe there were quite a few that did it... but he is the only one that I was able to talk to about it. I will search to see if I find him... (Needless to say.. it CAN be done... )

The plugs will fit. I think I had to take off a bracket to get to slide by, but you can mount it under the seat..

Hmmm, is there some frame guard that comes off on the left side?
I only see the slot inside the frame where the big bundle of wires go thru.
Thx

I'm just curious why you want it under the seat. My thought was by mounting it to the air tube by velcro, it would be less suseptable to shock.
I also wanted mine mounted under the seat but opted to just run an extended USB cable to that area. Now I just pop the seat and connect it to the laptop or dyno.
