Now I feel like I belong
My ZZR 600 has been in the shop since the Monday before Memorial Day for transmission repairs and I've been going through riding withdrawals (I'm addicted and can admit it).
I should have put it in over the winter, but I was still riding and there wasn't enough snow to make me stop.
This has accelerated My Christmas shopping resulting in the purchase of a leftover 07 Black ZX-14.
I really wanted the Silver 08, but after reading a post from someone with the 08 stating that if they had to do it all over again they would take the 07 and use the money saved for upgrades, I went with the 07.
I picked it up on July 3rd, but due to work and Family Travel Plans I've only been able to ride it 3 times to this point and so far so good. I have a little trip to Pittsburgh this weekend which will help complete the break in period.
I wanted the bike right away so upgrades will come after the 600 is out of the shop.
I can't be bikeless again.
I'll mainly be using my 14 to get as many miles as possible as fast as possible all over the country.
I also need to know, what have you done to your bike to create space under the seat?

LOL, thats the same dude I bought my bike from.......what a loser!!!!! Nah im just playing. MACC IS THE SHIT! I send everybody 2 him. Im about 2 get my ZX-10 from him 2...he just hooked up one of my friends...... NICE BIKE DUDE.. Your 14 is hotter.

Hit me up if you are passing through Tucson Az. I'll doa few miles with ya.
As far as space under the seat? I had the shop remove the charcoal can on my first service, that bought me enough room to mount my Power Commander. Which ... I subsequently found out can't be mounted there! hehehehe
I just bought a small Joe Rocket Mantra bag and carry my lose stuff there.
As far as 07 black versus 08 Silver ... that silver shuuure does look fiiiiine.

I dont carry nuthin. I buy as I go and throw it away!... actually I store my shit on other peoples bike. Theyre in the back of the pack anyway! grin

Thanks for the comments.
I try to "Escape from NY" as much as possible, but will hit up the local Guys when I can or hit me up so I can tag along.
My to do list are the States that I haven't hit yet and I don't plan on riding back to Cali until 2010 or 11, unless I try for the IBA 50CC again I missed it by 10 hours last time, I lost my glasses and wasn't prepared for the Temperature Drop in AZ so I had to stop.
My next big trip will not be until January when I ride to new Orleans for a convention.
