Help.. ran into problem with engine mount bolt 'collar'

Well I finally have my appointment to bring my bike in for the recall inspection, presently I have a Powerstuntworx Racerailz hooked up to my bike and I'm told that in order to perform a proper inspection of the frame per the recall I have to take the racerailz off and put back on the factory engine mount bolt.

Long story short on the left side the top-rear mount area where the bolt goes, behind the frame there is a collar (see item circled in red on pic below) that seems to have shifted slightly, it's shifted just enough to make the straight path that the long mount bolt that goes all the way across unable to get past it. The threaded bolt that came with the racerailz is not quite as thick (diameter) as the stock mount bolt so it is able to pass all the way through so the distance that the sleeve has shifted is really quite small, probably 2mm or so. I'm a fella that probably knows just enough to get himself in trouble but certainly know I'm no expert and am not the type that can tear a bike down into pieces and get her back together again so in my wish not to damage anything are there any experts on here that knows how I can get this collar shifted back in line again. I honestly am not certain how it is secured to the bike, I dont get the impression that it is a threaded component that had to get screwed in, is it held on by compression? can a properly placed 'strike tool' of some sort given a wack with a mallet a viable way to try and move it over, is it more involved than that and is it tricky enough that I need to take it to a mechanic to rectify.

Sorry for the long windedness but please if there are any of you experts out here, I'd appreciate if you can give my your advise.

'collar' in question is circled in red:

You should be able to just use a drift punch on the left side to re-align the spacer,
then re-install bolt from the right side.

Hope it works out for you.

I would ignore the recall…

If you have replaced the bolt and then retightened it yourself why go threw the hassle.

Do a visual inspection if the frame is not cracked put it back together and ride it…

Just remember to tighten the collar and the bolt to the right specification 11 for the collar and 44 for the bolt.

push the 92153a back in 1/2 inch.
use a large screw driver on the left side to align the collar.
you may need to use 92153a to relieve the pressure on the collar.
It works in reverse of the way you think, when you tighten 92153b, it goes into the
engine mount decreasing the width of the engine , when you loosen it screws out of the engine and increse the width. This is how Kawi adjust the engine to frame slack.

I don't understand how the dealer didn'tfix this?

I hit a monster piece of concrete at 70mph, look at the impact i took, my whole frame in good shape. I have the bike all part. not a fairing on it. I have checked every inch, and every weld. My collar is a ok. My 07 took a major hit front are rear, and my cross member is on one piece. That recall is cause a couple mechanic replaced them bolts with there impact guns instead of the proper 18 ft pounds.

OKay guys, let me thank you for the info and guidance, I've got it sussed. I 'loosened' the adjustable collar and that seems to have provided the ease that has allowed this collar on the left side to move some, so finally and presumably without doing something silly and damaging anything it's all back together with torque values for collar and bolt adhered to along with a rather vigorous and observant visual check for cracks of which I see none so now I'm all set and ready for the dealer to perform his 'professional' check. Again, some may say "is it worth it now", but I expect to hold onto this bike for a while and have purchased an extended warranty so want to follow the course that keeps anything that might go wrong nice and viable for mother kawi and the warranty to cover.

'Ninja12' it was your suggestion to loosen the collar that made all the difference, thank you! Before that, that darned collar would not budge.

thanks again guys.
