Well, that was fun? I think!
Above are some pics of "Bad Ass Black" showing the Givi bags and trunk. (had to fabricate my own brackets for the trunk) The raised handle bar, again I had to fabricate my own mounting bracket for the handle bars. I used a Renthal alloy dirt track bar. The bar sits about 5" higher and 3" back from the stock clip on Kawi bars.
Avon Storm ST tires, a Muzzy 4 into 1 pipe with oval carbon fiber can. Windshield is a Zero Gravity ST. I have a Bagster tank bra and tank bag on it.
The bike makes a GREAT sports tour. In May I took a trip from Vancouver Island down to Infineon Raceway for the AMA National Super Bike Races.
Very comfotrable, very very fast. My only buga boo is the saddle just is not comfortable for 800kms days. I'm working solutions for that at the moment.

You can take the front fairings off and use it as a stunt bike with those handle bars

Looking at this bike just makes me wanna hit the road. I like seeing the versatility of the 14. Maybe you should do that C-14 seat swap thing if you are looking for something more comfortable?

Just after market foam I PU at the local dirt bike shop. Their larger size is comfortable and helps dampen out most vibes. Since that pic was taken I have also added Oxford Heated Grips. (an English company) They just wrap around and hold themselves on with Velcro. I ended up with MAN sized grips. Looks a bit large and felt strange the first time I rode with them but 1 trip it feels great.
I do live in the great white north so heated grips are a "good thing" Also have an outlet for my electric jacket. Just like an electric vest but with heated sleeves as well. Since moving to the SW corner of Vancouver Island a few years ago I have been riding from late January until mid October when the rains return to the PNW.

I have been out bid twice now on ebay trying to get a gel C14 seat. When the bidding gets up around $500. I pull out. To much $ for me just for a seat.. I'll keep looking and trying for the "Perfect" seat. Really don't want to modify the original. Resale has to be kept in mind for the future.

Tell me how that top case mounts would you and where you got it? I would love to get one. Is there any brackets to be purchased? Any cutting to be made to plastics?

I see you have the Avon Storm tires on there, if you haven't ridden them yet you are going to love them. And just so you are aware they are warranted for the first 25% of wear against any defect or road hazard. I just got a brand new one from a huge nail going through it. If you are interested I can e-mail you the paperwork to be completed any your local shop, should anything happen to it.

To mount the top case I had to fabricate my own brackets. No one that I could source makes them. The case itself and the Givi pad that it sits on I originally sold off my ZX11 a couple of years ago to a friend who had put them on his FJR130O. I heard that he was selling to move to a Wing so was able to buy back along with the plate he had for mgting on his Yamaha.
To put the Givi bags on a 14 properly you have to buy the passenger grab handle kit from Kawi. I used this to solidly bolt the plate/platform to. I then fabricated 4 brackets (2 per side) that ran from the grab handle/Givi mgting brackets to the underside of the platform. This made a almost secure mounting. To remove the last bit of wiggle out of the installation I added 2 more brackets to the rear. The trunk sits "Solidly" on the 14 now. Absolutely no wiggle.
I have over 5000kms on the Storms and you are right, "I love them" I am familiar with the Avons from my ZX11. Burned up a bunch of them. The previous generation to the Storm but similar tire. They are a really good rain tire as well. Kind of important living in the PNW.
Anyway, if my picture posting skill has not been lost here are some pics of the trunk mounting.
