08 Silver Bullet
Sold the 08 Busa last week and picked up this silver bullet yesterday! So much more smoother and comfortable than the Busa and just as fast.

I dont know, maybe they think I'm trying to start something or I'm bs'ing about having a 08 busa. I just think the 14 has the Busa covered in every dept. but handling in the tighter corners. The comfort level and engine smoothness is not even close imo. I even think the 14 looks sharper. Not trying to start anything in this thread but just stating I'm happier to be back on a 14.

I've thought about switching to the 08 Busa with the frame recall issues with the 14, but I agree with you. I just like the looks, comfort, etc. of the 14. I also can't justify losing all the money I invested over the winter in wheels, levers, rearsets, and steering damper.
I'd switch to an 08 from my 06, I'm just not a fan of the 08 colors except for the silver, and my gold accessories aren't going to look very good with that. I may hold off to see what the 2009 colors Kawi is offering.

I paid $10,900otd including ttt. I'm friends with the GM at the dealership so he gave me a smoking deal. Last one he had in the box too. I'm looking to get the new Muzzy pipe for the 14's, the larger diameter one, it looks like it making some decent power.

Great bike and a great decision… haven ridden both back to back the two seamed fairly close in most respects. But the fit and finish on the 14 seams better and I will take the George Forman grill over that ugly camel ass any day of the week.
