This is what $450 gets you and Chinese plastics
Wasting some time on Ebay i came accross a full set of ABS plastics for my 14 , bid 450 and got them , there where some fitment issues but non that couldent be overcome with some modifing. I have not picked up a black tank yet so left the forward cowel on in blue .
the package comes with 16 pieces only part not in the kit is the seat cowel. all in all for how i spent its Ok i think cheap ,

Looks good. I almost bid on that as well. Sure will look better and complete when it is all "Bad Ass Black"!

No the Blue plastic is good but for 450 bucks what the heck for the race season saves my good stuff ,

yes its a company out of china that is producing it now they have some modifing to do to make it fit better

infinite sets available. one thing most have done is put heat tape on the inside of the parts in all the places the factory has heat protection. the kits I've seen don't have it and some have reports heat damage.
a friend has a sweet bike with those ebay plastics from china as well. same deal, he spent a little time with fitness and filled the inside with a few rolls of heat tape-

I did not use a scale but held piece for piece and the abs was lighter . Where talking only ounces but its lighter. It does not have all the heat foam glued to it like the factory panels .

This is great timing… I just jump on the net to see if I could find out what new plastic for my Black 07 was going to cost me. A *%^$#@ garbage truck backed into my bike this afternoon and then drove off.
- R Mirror (Scratched)
- R Upper and Lower Fairing (Scratched)
- Upper Front Fairing (Broken)
- Front Brake Lever (just scratched not bent)
- Right Bar End
- Right Turn Signal
- Right Muffler (not dented and I may be able to polish it out)
All in all not a happy camper, like many this is my baby and previously did not have even one little scratch on it.
By the way can you peel of all the race replica stickers?

I seen these as well. They actually look pretty good. This Chinese company (or companies) offers a lot of plastics for all kinds of sport bikes. I was strongly considering the repsol plastics for my RC51 until I seen that they don't have screw towers for the headlights to mount to. I would have to "fabricate" something. Not sure if I am up to the task.

The decals are painted over with clear coat ,the paint takes more abuse then stock thats for sure.If you plan on getting this stuff remember it needs some modifying done like tabs cut off , holes drilled bigger, edges trimmed.

Ya seems like a lot of work But since i did this i am going to have my factory set re painted since the factory paint has no durability ,and around here there is only one or 2 paint shops my stuff will take weeks to get painted,
