Dairyland, 3 bikes full coverage, 650 per year. Shop around, use the phone. I almost missed the zx experience because my old insurance wanted over a grand a year for just one bike. You should had heard my agent once I dropped him. He knows the homeowners insurance is getting shopped next. I was amazed at the difference from one carrier to the next.

I got insurance quotes everywhere I could find. The company I had my 07 ZX6R through for $650 a year quoted me $1,450 a year, other companies quoted me $1,700 and one was way over $2,000 a year. Geico was the best I could find. Dairyland wanted about $1,500 a year.

buterthe great who are you with and what area of the country are you in? I pay 92/mth for my 600 which comes to $1104/yr.

I'm in TX. Funny thing is for a brand new 14 they quoted me $64/mth = $768/yr Statefarm. Still the cheapest I could find. Everyone else want 300/mth.

25 married a kid, a house and a dog.......NO tickets or accidents.......excellent credit

JUST redid mine, 37 yrs old 2 small speeding tickets (5 over on freeway $#!! cops), and it jumped from $390 to $630! I knew I should have fought those stupid tickets! Oh yeah, I'm in Washington State, living in a little low crime town, and use Geico.

My 14 now costs more than my full coverage on my 99 Suburban, and liability on my 91 Eclipse and 92 Chevy 1500 stepside! Sorely tempted to drop the insurance all together... its not required in my state.

well damn, I guess it must be my less-than-clean record, then! progressive wanted mucho dinero to add just comp. to my policy! ^*%$^*%&$^(&$(

I wonder what the current figures are on the most sought-after bikes, as far as theft goes - anyone? I will NOT become a statistic!

I wonder if Geico found out about all the tickets that I've fought and won? I dont get a doubling of rates over my getting two "5mph over" tickets in the same year. At age 37! Damn I knew I should have fought them!

speaking of which... was riding yesterday, last corner of a series of tight S turns, a expanding radius 1rst gear uphill corner;I had a little fun and brought the front tire up in a real nice crossed up wheelie with the bike still leaned over. And perfect timing a Sherriff was coming the other way! I said fuckit and held the tire up until I passed him. Pasted the throttle through two quick gears and realized he wasnt pursuing (though he had turned his lights on and pulled onto the shoulder to make a U turn). Guess he figured if I could ride that well there was no point in chasing me. Someday I'll get caught, someday........

You guys in the US are lucky on your insurance costs.

I live in Alberta, clean record, 48 years old. State Farm. $950 for full coverage, but with a $2000 deductable.

State Farm is better than my previous carrier whic was almost $1400 per year.
