240 Tire
Just wondering, can I squeeze a 240 rear tire on my stock zx14 rear rim?

Not a chance. Even if you got it on the rim it would look like a fat man in a speedo.

i think someone posted up about how they fitted a 210 on the wheel, but as the tire heated up it came close to rubbing the swingarm, or something. might want to try that if you wish to diminish any handling characteristics of the 14.

Kosman makes a kit for this. believe it or not. its not on his site yet but if you call him he'll give you all the details. but it uses a modified stock wheel and offset sprockets. he says he can do it in about 2 weeks and you'll have to send him a wheel to modify. he quoted me $850 using stock arm. or you can get it with bolt on ext. for more. also you'll have to refinish the wheel yourself i.e. powdercoat or whatever you like.
got a set of extra wheels on the way now! gonna see what it looks like short!

oh yeah, Roaring Toyz had the wheel and tire on display at Bike Week, but said it was too new to give me a price. then gave me the runaround when i called them a week later, thats why i called Kosman. I don't know if thats who they're getting it from, but its gonna be where i get mine. Kosman has a very good dragracing reputation imo.

see if you can get a picture of it. I talked to the guys at kosmans and they told me 800 for the wheel work , spacers and counter sprocket. I want to see how it looks. They can corner the market with a price like this.

Pics please, I'd really like to see how good it looks,
Does anyone know how much longer the arm needs to be?
I'm sending an arm out to be stretched now, and it would help in my decision making.
