Bike sounds cool. How much did it cost for your tunning? Do they offer different maps for different riding styles?

tune cost $350. He spent about an hour working on the bike. The primary goal of the dynotune is to get the optimal air/fuel ratio at all rpm ranges. I don't know about tuning for different riding styles. I only have one riding style-warp speed...lol

You are gay and you like wasting money. The money you wasted on slip ons and supposed tune job, you could have bought full pipe and power commander. Then got the map from Brock. 170hp+. Love your quote dumb ass--"I only have one riding style warp speed". You dont know shit. Stop being a pussy and tune your own motorcycle.

I also would not have spent 350 tuning a bike with slip-ons.

Wow...what an arsehole you are. I'm new on this board and it's shi*t like this that puts a bad name for a forum. No wonder it's been losing members from what I've read in other threads within this forum. I can't believe no moderators have stepped in to edit your post. It's embarrasing and childish - a reflection of what kind of person you are.

Why knock a fellow member for how he's modded his bike?? Maybe he likes the looks of a dual slip on versus a full system. What's it to you? You're happy with your bike and he's happy with his. Be nice and play well with others. Your tone sounds like you're a capable tuner..aren't we all. Download a so called "tuned map" and you're the schniznat...please...now that's laughable..Let's start a pissing contest...I'm game.

Furthermore, Brocks system looks like crap IMO. Sure, it puts out the most horsepower on paper..people wipe their bungholes with paper. .it don't poop unless you're Ricky Gladden or whatever his name is.
You're an embarrasment...look in the mirror you arrogant fool.

Hey "Ninjafan" , paying $350 for a one-hour "dyno-tune" was a truly a rip off. A custom map takes pretty much all day to nail down all parameters for optimum performance. Shame on that tuner for stealing your money. You would've been better off getting a free map off a fellow member or off of Dynojet's website.

Comments like this are uncalled for. This site is for sharing and to answer questions for those in need.

Ninjafan welcome to our site. A great positive for visiting this site is to ask questions before spending a lot of money. There is no need to re-invent the wheel as a lot of us have had the 14 since the beginning-- (2006). We have been through it all and would be glad to help you save a dime.

Smokinzx14 - I didn't question the Brocks putting out the best horsepower. Actually I know it does...I didn't mean to sound as if I were questioning it. Brocks does extensive testing on their products and provides the best service for their products. I had them tune my 06 14 when it first came out in '06. I did my own testing with 6 different full exhaust systems available at the time and Brocks beat them by at least 3-5 hp on average but then again not very many had the meg line out back then. Megs put out the max HP compared to any other exhaust configuration. The Brocks meg back in '06 put out 6hp more than a Tsukigi. I used the Brocks map and fine tuned it with the Yosh pipe - I was within 3 hp of the Brocks meg in 2006 but that was after numerous hours with a datalogger and more fine tuning on the dyno. People can argue about the best exhaust setup all year long...I say buy what you like and make the best of it.
It kills me to see a so called dyno tuner charge $350 for a "custom tuned map" which takes an hour to do.

Personnaly I don't like the meg look so this time around I'm going with a dual high mount slip on - max hp isn't my quest this time around. Besides, the 14 is no longer the king of power..it's been dethroned by a friggin' sport bike
10 posts doesn't mean I know nothing about bikes and HP - I'm just new to this forum.

cheers dude!

jimmiedice is a proven scumbag around here.
also, i personally wouldnt spend the $ on tuning for a slip-on. i also wouldnt spend $ on a slip-on to begin with.
i HAVE spent $ on a custom dyno tune for stock exhaust flies out when i first got my bike, as you couldnt get a map for it anywhere at the time. i am still happy with it, and if NINJAFAN is happy with his tune then thats cool.
