smeg install question

First I would like to say hello to fellow members--my question is if you guys are using the permatex ultra copper brock said to use or any alternative for short smeg install-thanks

I used it on the header initially with no issues and later due to a small leak around where the mid pipe connects. Just use a very small amount, it doesnt take much just a thin layer. Brocks said that it wasnt necessary, but I would do it again with a new system.
