Well, the speculation ends here I guess. Just sent mail to Kawasaki UK asking if they are doing a recall too.

Hmm, this has me wondering now. Since i'v owned the bike new i have always heard a knock/clunk sound from the rear suspension over bumps. I can feel it on the left foot rest. At first i thought it could be chain slap, but its not. Still did the same thing after i lowered it and stretched it also, nothing has changed. I'v looked all around for anything loose but dont see anything.. Now i wonder if i do bring it in to the dealer, how much shit/hassle they are gonna give me for it being modified..? "Sir its probally your extensions or the nos bottle making the noise, we cant find anything wrong" Blaw blaw

No. The bike he posted pics of had the frame broken off at the steering head.
I think it is fairly well documented online that the frame can be damaged during the engine install/removal process. It sounds like Kawasaki is finally admitting that some bikes may have had improper assembly from the factory.

read the safety administration documents, 5 complaints, 0 accidents, injuries, or fatalities. it will be interesting to see where this goes. it seems most of the info came from web forums regarding complaints......
