Kawabunga I give you respect on the different design of the bike...not my thing but i understand where your coming from. I could never deny my bike the body work or at least full race body work. I think you add'd a set of BST's and ditch the shinko and went with a PP race, you should see another 15 pounds off that bike. I think slammed it would look better too me...

I appreciate the input flatoutbu. We are going to continue to lighten the bike including wheels, drag shock, rear tire etc as well as lowering it some more. We needed a base line to start development and all will see a lot of changes very soon. We are addressing all the little things around this stock motor before we drop the stroker in. We will be spraying the motor very soon with the Muzzy Dry Shot System and their pro swingarm with a drag shock.

Well i like the ideal of no gas tank. I imagine that took a big chunk of weight off the bike. I never weighed my gas tank but i'm betting it's a good 20-25 pounds. I have sat on my bike with no tank and body work and wondered what it would be like to launch it like that.

Welcome bigbrown...great to see the whole team on here now. Lee's right, we have what I believe may be one of the best, if not the best rider in the country. We have only just begun!
A major thank you needs to go out to Rob Muzzy for his support and belief in this project. All of the Muzzy products on the bike fit perfectly and functioned perfectly.
We will be running the bike in this stage of development at 2 more test sessions before installing the Muzzy Dry Shot System, Muzzy Pro Swingarm and lighter wheels

quote: We made 5 passes with all 60' times at 1.44 except when Lee launched it at an 8 grand try and went up in smoke. We actually didn't finish the bike until 5 am Sunday morning and the first run was at 1 pm. We were running a Shinko slick that I am changing to a MT. I will be massaging the PC map before we run again thursday night. Also we were on 87 octane and no spray ( using nitrous in the bottle to shift ). All motor, stock...valve cover has never been off. Rider weighs 128 with gear...haven't weighed the bike yet, but will. There will be footpegs on the swingarm where the spools would attach. Lee wanted pegs in stock location because of his riding style. There are some tenths we left on the table that with fine tuning, suspension and rider placement adjustments to be made. We are looking for 1.30 60' and 5.35 thursday night.
What did it go Thursday ?
