08 Silver Pics
Just finished today and placed on the showroom. Install the new Muzzy M14, PC and map, Flies out, black grills, black tank facia and black Puig windscreen....waiting on the black wheel stripes to get here. Something a little different to add some personality.

I'm not so wild about the reflectors but if they allow someone somewhere to see me other than hit me, guess I can "live" with them...Bike looks great......

The bike being brand new, I never remove any of the safety items for liability reasons. When the customer buys I always suggest what should be removed to make the bike more appealing.
As far as taking pics of the pipe while installing....I only remove the lowers for pipe installation on the 14's. The header wouldn't be visible with the side cowls on.
The Muzzy M14 comes with a radiator lower bracket to move the rad out about 1/2" at the bottom, a heat shield to protect the rad hose on the #4 pipe and heat tape for the lowers and the 02 bung ia already there for mapping.
This is deffinately the pipe you want for street use. Makes some serious serious power and fits like a glove.
Top quality Muzzy item as always !

Kawabunga, in order to install the windshield, did you have to remove any of the fairings?
Thanks in advance.

To replace the windscreen all you have to do is remove the six screws that hold it to the bike, remove the rubber nuts from the original windscreen, put them in the new windscreen, screw it back on the bike. Only takes about five minutes. No fairings need to be removed.

kawabunga, I really like what you did with that bike. It looks very nice. The only thing I haven't made my mind up on is the black tank facia.

I was really trying to give the silver a little bit of personality....this may not win some votes with some but I personally think the silver was a little too much silver...I think the 14 should be sinister looking or extremely fast looking. I guess working in a dealership and seeing so many 14 Connie's in silver the ZX 41 in silver looks like it's just missing saddlebags..lol.
The black tank facia was a tough decision, what I wanted to do was define the gas tank more..a beginning and an end to it.
As far as track or dyno with the bike...it is brand new and for sale so I will wait until it is sold and I do the break-in service...but will let everyone know the results.
Studying the numbers and it may rruffle some feathers...the M14 gets the job done much better than the smeg from bottom to top.

That Diablo Black is mighty sinister looking the way it is...I might suggest highlighting the grills with silver to give some contrast.
