Need some help here, guys...
My bike just blew the 15 Amp ECU fuse - wtf?!?! Is it because my PCIII was grounded to the coolant reservoir??? Answers needed, as I'm afraid to ride the damn thing now - thanks in advance...

Fortunately, I was less than 2 miles from home...UNFORTUNATELY, I started tearin' the frickin' bike apart on a sidewalk before it dawned on me to check the damn fuses! I was quite less pissed when I pulled one that was blown and replaced it with a spare. Turned the key, no more weirdness on the coolant gauge on the dash - whew! I threw all the little hexes and the foreman grills in my tankbag, turned the hazards on, and putted home...
What do you all think?

There is no way todiagnose that over the internet.
The PC ground should be moved anyway.......I've already heard a dozen bad stories. Move the ground from under the stupid plastic to the 8mm cover bolt that is just below the bottle.

Yeah, I know there can't be a definitive answer over the net, but I'm looking for likely possibilities...I'll change the ground location, for now...

Hope it wasnt a power surge...
Tracing this crap could be a night mare.
Get your volt meter out. Verify charging voltages from the alt.
1 thing that will stop surges. Capacitor. Pain in the ass though.

I wouldn't worry about the first fuse that blows, if it does it again then look for a problem.
