MR9 / U4.2

ok so i am going to try MR9 this weekend, i have the hub so i can make a second map to try and still retain my dyno map / any suggestions?
also what about U4.2? fuel man was trying to sell me that, saying he thought it was just about as good and lots cheaper.
have you all really seen 7+hp with MR9? do you drain the tank after you done racing and fill with pump gas ??

on a separate note what oil should i run down here in texas

Thanks all

There are plenty of good oils out there, I use mobil 1 myself. I also run mr9 when not using pump gas. It does add a few mph while running Brock's Maxton or track map.

That is one of the advantages to using the Brock pipe, it works and the map/tech support is second to none. I do have the LCD for map storage but not the hub for switchin on the fly. I do believe with all the maps it ran faster with mr9.

one would think with all the crap Muzzy sell's us for the 14 they would be a bit more competitive and supportive in the map area ( personally i thought the Muzzy map sucked (for lack of a better word)Huge dead spot in the 3-4k, top end was ok but thats it) and i tried them all, had to buy a dyno map to make there pipe work well.
since i have chosen to mostly drag i Will be in the market so a sidewinder soon, maybe i should buy Brock this time

I just got this direct from The SoCo Group, a direct distributor for VP fuels.

VP MR9 has been discontinued on the Westcoast. It has been replaced by MR11. For most applications it is a direct replacement.

VP rep told me to go 6 percent richer for U4.2, vs the old U4.

I have kept the same mph with the new U4.2 as with the old U4 doing that........
