Dyno'd...got 3500rpm dip!!
On the dyno yesterday, couldn't tune out the DIP I have at 3500 rpm when doing a 'fast action' throttle run, where you whack the throttle full to do the run. It took the throttle smoothly when doing a 'roll on'.
The only thing I think is causing it is my 'quick' action throttle. Even on the street, at low rpm if I blast the throttle, the bike will hesitate...can't keep up. I think this is what is happening.
Any suggestions, or anyone want to send me their map below 4000rpm, thanks!
Here are 3 dyno runs....I emailed myself all the dyno runs and downloaded the viewer! I changed the runs over to STD hp, in order to compare to Ivan's dyno sheets.....
RUN 015 started out life as a muzzy map.
RUN 010 is a ZERO MAP!!!
RUN 003 is a performance bike shops map...I won't name it(not Ivan).

Here is the low end of the RUN 015 map...note the zeros I added...as a result of the ZERO map runs...

No AFR 's for us to analyze!
It acting like the flies are in!
have you tried the accellerator pump feature since installing the quick turn throttle?
That or add some fuel at 80 and 100%, at 3500 rpm.
All engines pull a little better when a little richer, under heavy load, low rpm.
The bike is going lean and losing vacuum momentarilly.
Most of the dirtbikes i owned with FCR carbs, will stumble if the accellerator pump is not timed or set up right.
I'm at work so can't help much...
