Consensus on the K&N air filter?

Well, nearly another yr has gone by, surely some people are using the K&N?

I currently have the stock with screen removed...

any thoughts....

Yeah, I figure a lot of people will have the BMC as they had theirs released first!!!

Been riding my bike finally this season, and there is lots of road dust still!! So I think I gotta spend the money and get a filter that I can clean!

Just make sure the foam is thick and seals the frame slot well...
a good billet air filter / frame cover that doen't distort would be helpful too.

BMC Race? no. BMC Street? yes. OEM flows better than a K$N.

Test results found the BMC RACE flowed as well as no filter.. K&N faired slightly better than stock..Buy a BMC RACE and clean it every 10 grand..

i use the bmc street filter and it is a big improvement over stock, using butt dyno. it is cleanable, highly recommend.
