Rob is the 14 rods doing fairly well with good bolts in this class of hp. I have one we are pushing the limits i think'' We are testing and may run pro street but i dont want to saw the lowers in half. I'm going to pull it down one more time to check all internals, was wondering what your testing has found. Good luck with PS this season.... Bill.....

ZX14 Turbo

Firstly i would like to let you all know that Barry said he would not build a 2nd bike,But WILL sell the kit,s for the ZX14 Turbo but did not have the pricing for it now. Should Any body be interested they should call and find out.

As far as the statement of the bike I do believe MR Muzzy did say not to JUDGE him until the next session ,I have not seen any thing that impressed me so far, But the session is not over yet.

The bike that barry has built for us Has proved the it can be competitive with any good rider on it , Bud Yoder is not a Factory rider and not even a pro rider , the event at Atlanta was his first ever full run for the bike and the rider, and Did QUALIFY, with a bit more seat time BUD will prove that Kawasaki can go past the 7.3,s . If it does not Then JUDGE me.

To Velocity , Barry and Bud Yoder Well done You have built the fastest Honda, Suzuki and now Kawasaki

I remember Hearing Bud Speak about the comment he was not a good rider! To me, that means that the bike would have performed even BETTER than it did which was nothing to sneeze about to begin with! This must also mean that when you have a Great Bike that Anyone can go fast and Quick on it!

I cannot wait to see how Jan will do riding this bike "1" Handed! (Jan is Pierre's Son that does not have a Left had from Birth!) If he wins the SA Championship he will be able to say that he beat the Competition with a Hand di Cap

Bud is a great rider he just hasnt received a regular ride on a prostreet bike. He has been 1.24 60 ft he has been a 4.79 eigth mile and 7.30's in the quater mile in virginia last year and went 203.7 mph in valdosta testing this year. he just isnt your big name rider. I think it was a comment that was made that someone said he wasnt a good rider is what you heard.

To Keep this clean, Pierre was told that he was not a good rider (Basically saying that there were better riders for his bike!). Pierre told Bud and I was there when Bud said that he was not even a Pro Rider either but he was sure going Quick! Trust me, If Bud was NOT doing the Job, Pierre would have seen to it that someone else was on HIS bike!

I watched Bud handle the bike at the end of the 8th when the back end was trying to beat the Front end down the track! I cleaned the Oil Off the rear tire and Syn Oil is some very slick Stuff and it is not easy to clean off either! To me, Hnaging on to that bike with an Oiled right side of the rear tire was some REAL Riding!

thanks guys!! we worked hard on the bike and it seemed to pay off. whats most important is the Bear team is happy. That makes me happy. Really enjoyed the time we spent with you guys while you were here.

Yes, after the job was complete, we decided that we would indeed build another bike. when ever we build a bike for the first time, just like we did on the first busa, the first blackbird, and now the first zx-14, we cus and swear our way thru it and swear we wont ever do it again. but in the end when they turn out like they do, they make us proud, and it makes all the hard work worth it. So, yes, we will build another one, and we will sell the turbo systems as well.

Bud is an exceptional Rider for sure. Thats why the call was made and he was offered the ride. to me the job was not complete til the bike ran the number. I promise that to all our customers we build a bike for. this is no exception. So Bud was an obvious choice to get the bike to run the number. He did it in only 3 pass's as well. Thanks Bud for all your help and your skills. Barry

billeason- We are not running stock rods in either the Pro stock or Super Street Bike 14's. The most Hp we have run with stock rods is about 325 with our Stage 1+ Turbo Kit. No problems.

Thanks Rob, I like the fact that you tell it straight, some might not like what you have to say but its honest experiance. I pulled the motor down again an all looks good but we are pushing quite a bit more then 325. I 'm gonn'a call your guys monday about the internals i need for this thing. This is the first pro street project for us and didn't plan to build for the class it just ended up fitting the rules and we were surprized how well this 14 ran with big boost. Bill........

Bill- We are using our 9-1 pistons and Rod Kit in both our Super Street and Pro Street engines. The Funny Bike engine is the same.

I wasn't sure you would put that out there'' but thanks i had thought we might be using to much compression for the limits this motor seems to want to run at. Good looking out Rob. I'm going to run your rod and piston kit in this motor'' so thanks for the info now i know what to ask for when i call. Good luck with pro stk this year. Bill.....
