Multi Hub NOS question

I installed a 2 stage nos system on my 14 and have a question on wiring it up with a multihub. After reading the directions (not something I normally do before the fact) I found that the trigger completes a ground circuit for the controlled device. It is rated at 3 amps. What I did is wire the solenoids to independent relays- the first stage relay has battery power, the trigger is a toggle swith with 12 volts, the output puts +12 to the solenoid and the ground circuit is completed by the multi hub. The solenoid is grounded to the frame. On the second stage relay everything is the same except the solenoid is ground circuit is completed through the horn button. My question is if the horn circuit is capable of handling the load on the second stage as well as the multi hub on the first stage? Thanks for any input. Billy

uh, i think the hub should be activating a relay that operates the solenoid, not the solenoid directly, that cct is not designed to handle much voltage, under 5 v actually.

if you put 12 v grd through the hub you might burn it.

this setup seems convoluted, not sure about the rest.
are you using the horn to activate the 1st stage, and a relay O.P. from the hub to activate the secondstage?

Put an amp meter in series with a relay,, activate it to see what the amp draw is.
I am "quite" sure its not much, and the horn can handle 2

you should contact dj.
they have ppl there to help you, thats what you pay for sometimes... the service

they will set you straight and help you find the simplist way to do what you need,

its really hard to talk about it all without a schematic.

After reading my post I am confused too! Horn button runs stage 2, multihub runs stage 1. I think I got it all dialed in last night. Thanks
