gear ?
just wondering what type of gear i should run for the 1/8. only mods i have are strap, muzzy ss full exhaust, flies out, pc, stock wheel base. should i leave it stock gear till i streatch it or go up or down in front or rear. oh i weigh 230 unsuited. need more out the hole grunt but dont wanna lose too much on the big end. thanks.

I went down 1 (16) in the front and up 1 (42) and I weigh 175 lbs. You need at minimum to go down 1 in the front and 42 maybe 43 on the rear if you can keep it down.

how do you think just going down 1 in the front for now would do.

It will definitely help, after that you can play around with the rear. Make sure you have a GOOD impact when taking the front sprocket off or you'll kill A LOT of time trying !!!
