Good question. What is an Im-1? It sounds from the info you are looking for like an A/F sensor like the Wego.
On Saturday I installed a Wego III on my 14 and am in the process of figuring out the same stuff.
I tried the Crank sensor wire to the ECU for the RPM but the bike won't start. Error code says it can't read the crank turning. Disconnect the input to the Wego and it runs fine. I haven't checked the download from the Wego yet to see if it is reading the throttle position sensor. (tonight's job)
Will let you know if I find anything that works.

Yes LM-1 is a wideband.
LM-1 data logs and has very nice software that display a graph much like a PC map
with TPS and RPM except the cells have AF ratio. makes it easy to build a custom map.
Had it installed on my zx12 now tring to get it on the zx14.
I didn't like the Dynojet software, but I did like the way the hardware installed.
LMK how you like the Wego.
Usually RPM's come from a coil ground wire.

use a coil jumper, the same one they sell for tach outputs from schnitz for the rpm.
I used a tps jumper from kawi, used to set the tps for the tps reading.

haven't hooked mine up yet..... bike is torn down to the skeleton right now.

no harness slicing involved.... plug n play soldier into the jumper leads...

Ninja12- where the heck are you mounting the LM-1?
I'm tossed up on that or LC-1, what else are you using, XD-16?

I just zip tied it to the right ram cover when building a track map, easy to hit the record button . just throw it in the trunk for street tuning.

The lm-1 is not the pretty unit for everyday riding, more like the fat girl next door,
GREAT company , but you leave her behind when the evenings over.

I also used a 4 wire plug on TPS, RPM and ground (LMA2), and a 2 wire plug on pwer , so It could be installed and removed within minutes.

I just use the lm1 and the RPM kit (LMA2) , provides everything a dyno would except no
hp number to brag to your buddy.

I love my "Flux Capacitor". (Innovate LC1) It's the best tuning aid I've ever used

lol
how did I know someone would ask...
ok I found the part number in my manual.
its Kawi # 57001-1538
TPS calibration adapter harness.

manual also states blue lead is positive, so that the one you will get the voltage reading from,
approx 0.63 volts or slightly higher is idle
approx 3.91 volts or slightly lower is 100% open

look at that , i even gave you the tps ranges for your software!

Thanks for the info Dubious. I didn't think to check and see if Kawasaki made anything like that. I have spliced into the wiring harness and am getting a signal for the TPS. Thanks for the voltage range it will help with reading the software.
Hey Ninja12, with the stick coils there is no ground wire, everything runs back through the ECU from what I can tell of the wiring diagram.

I have no problems tapping into the factory harness near the CPU,
IF I know which wires to tap. Thats where I tapped the zx12 for Kill box and wideband.
The 12 has stick coils also.

Hey Ninja12, just came back from a test ride to see how everything worked.
Got everything wired up and working.
RPM from the #1 coil wire, it's white and red. Check carefully as there are 2 white and red wires, the other one goes to the fuel injectors.
Throttle position sensor is the yellow and white wire from the Primary Throttle butterflies.
Dubious has very nicely listed the voltage range in this post.
For a ground I just used one of the bolts on the side of the headstock. Cleaned of the paint and it was fine.
Power from one of the side lights as they are always on when the ignition is on.
Hope this helps.
