Greetings From Arizona. (New User)

Yo!

Greetings from Tucson Az. I traded in my Ducati 996 (Mono) because I needed a bigger (ergonimics) bike and also my wife want to double up and go for rides sometimes. I was initially set for a Concours but a fellow duc rider (1098) said ... "Go for the HP", so i did.

I've only got 175 miles on it now but I'm building my shopping list ...

1. Exhaust (Brocks / Muzzy and not looking to be a cop magnet)
2. PC3 w/USB
3. Airbox / Aircleaner mods.
4. Handle bar risers.
5. Peg lowering kit. (If such a kit.)

Scouring the web and forums for ideas.

Pics to follow after mods, otherwise it looks like the same Sapphire Blue one sitting ont he showroom.

Word on the street is that you can take lowered footpegs for an xb12 and with a little grinding they'll bolt right up. I'm pretty sure that i saw that on this forum somewhere, but don't hold me to it. Has anyone tried it? i found this site that sells them pretty cheap.

Bawls,

Thanks for the tip ont he pegs. I noticed from many pics I've seen of Brock's and Muzzy's that most pipes come real close to the stock peg location.

I'm wondering how much gap there is between stock pegs and aftermarket pipes.

Don't know about the 08 model, but no flies+aftermarket exhaust+PC=decel backfire for most (if not all) 06 and 07 models. Eliminate with TRE006A or homemade resistor. Everyone is bored with me saying that by now but it worked for me.
