Rubbibg undertail Bad

ok i know im not the only one who is having this problem.
64"s ,last hole on links, 212lbs with gear,
finally get my suspension where i hook and like the damping and rebound and i look under the tail to find this HUGE hole!! What can i do? i have seen the tiger tail but i am sure i will rub it too, just maybe not a hole in it. i think its only doing it when i launch but not sure. i do seem to be short a few MPH at the top end. Is there a fix?

middle hole will work, but you still have a huge hole in the undertail.

well not that i am looking to cause any more damage but there is only 1 concern > ET
if the question came up " what would you rather have, a slower ET or a hole in the undertail ?"
i'd take the hole lol
but the wire harness that is about to be trashed is unacceptable!!!
i figured i would buy the tigertail

thanks wheelie
now if it slows my 60' i am going to have to blame you

Muzzys makes a spacer that goes on the shock that stops it from going down so low, there is one for middle hole and one for third hole.

Can you run the Straight link if you have the 3 hole lowering links? or must you have the Adams Adj links??

ok so i moved my links to the middle hole, bike is lots higher ( seems more than a inch but whatever)

still have the question bout if i need the adams adj links to go with the straight link? and what does the straight link really do? how does that set up differ from the 3 hole links? is it more than just a height thing?

The adams straight rocker arm ( straight link) changes the leverage ratio the arm has overe the shock, stiffening the suspension, and reduces suspension squat under acceleration, and over bumps.
Not sure if the 3 hole links will work or not, I have then short threaded ones.
The long tiger undertail will help clearnace somewhat, but not directly under the tailight, so it depends where the tire is adjusted to, and if you have an arm on it or not.
At least its made up of aluminum, and won't allow you to burn up any more parts.

so this is the tiger tail you are talking bout right? do they make one without the plate bracket? or do you just have to cut it off?
