Pilot Power 2CT
I have finally dusted the factory bridgestones.. I'm now debating two things.
1) Pilot Power 2CT, does any one have any experience with them on a 14. i ride aggresively and track the 14 occasionally. What do you think?
2) Thinking of going down a size in the rear to a 180. i like the feel of the profile of a 180 and how it turns in easier. i had also thought about the 190/55 to attain the more rounded profile also.
Let me know what you guys think.

hey welcome to the forum tiger! to answer your question on the pilot power 2ct's I have one to put on only because a buddy of mine had one on the rear of his gixxer 1000 and had 1500 miles on it still looked new. he rides extremely hard could only keep a qualifier on for 900 miles so if your looking for something lasting but still sticky thats a good choice. you wont notice anything really between a 180 and a 190 not much difference. i went from a 180 to a 190 on my zx7r and noticed no difference carved corners just as easy. Hope this is some helpful info let us know how u make out.

I have a club member who hasa 99 Busa that he rides like a 600. So hard he scrapes his stator cover/kickstand. He's been on 2CT's for a few seasons and swares by them. As a matter of fact, my ENTIRE club swears by them. Get those 2CT's and don't look back. The first wave of my upgrades and mods will be to take those garbage stock tires off and go to the 2CT's.

The pilot power 2CT is a dual compound tire consisting of an 80/20 split.
2 CT - The middle 80% is the exact same compound as the regular pilot power. 20% (sides) is an even softer compound.
If you run straight lines, save yourself some money and buy the standard pilot power.
If you run the bike in knee-drag mode, the 2CT is the chit.

the pilot power is very tapered profile, no need for 180 IMO.
awesome tires... the best IMO... too

pirelli makes a 190/55 corsaIII which is a tri-compound tire - that would be my choice.
