Any 07 Blue with black wheels?
I was thinking about powerdercoating my wheels and heal guards black, I have never seen a blue 07 with black rims. What color do you guys think, black chrome, or some sort of semi gloss. I already have the vortex rear black sprocket. Any pictures would be appreciated

My '07 is the plasma blue and silver wheel and they need to be gone!!!! Im thinking of the flat black to match the frame an all... has a bit of a metal flake in it so thats the route im heading..... considering im not a crome fan and im not gonna dump a shit load into something that im gonna have to polish everytime i get home from a ride.....

You can't go wrong with black. Powder coated gold with the blue looks good also, but you're back to having to clean the buggers. Since I'm lazy, and HATE to clean wheels, black would be my choice for both looks and easy cleaning.

Here's how to clean wheels in 6 easy steps!
1) Buy a gallon of Kerosene
2) Buy a spray bottle
3) Spray Kerosene liberally on the wheels and let drip off
4) Spray with hose (water)
5) Fast wipe wheels
6) Ride bike!
Nothing could be easier; it gets tar, grease and all road grime off in seconds. For our US friends, Goo Gone (Home Depot) works as well and does not cause any damage either. Smells good too!
Kerosene removes grease from the chain/sprockets just as easily...

I use wd 40, same results as steve,,, does attract dust however...
I don't use wax on my chain either,,,, helps lots
keep any of that stuuf off your rotors and pads though....

Think I might try a satin black..What about getting kerosene on the tires??I know we don't have the same tires on very long.I use kero to kill my weeds. The whole neighborhood smells like a truck stop..I know Iam a bad boy.
