Chain Guards

Well I just got done installing 8" extensions and obviously the factory guard is a little short. I checked the safety regs for my local track and it didn't spell out anything. I am going to get a tiger guard as soon as I can but just wondering if I am going to get bounced for not having it. Thanks Billy

usually they look to see that your guard goes back at least to the center of the rear sprocket. they won't care if it's the stock plastic and I've seen guys with no guard at all allowed to race. depends on the track I guess.

Personally I would always spend the money on a good guard like the tiger just for safety.
