I am from the Boise Area and I do spend a little time drag racing at our local track. It's called Firebird Raceway, you can check it out online. They do have a points series for bikes but thats about it. I just bought a new ZX14 this winter and I'm very excited to get it out to the track and race it. Opening day is on March 30th for a test n' tune. Also in the works is a massive speedway called War Eagle Speedway which will be built about 20 min from Boise. http://www.wareaglespeedway.com.

Yes it will be 1/4 mile, and my guess is it is going to draw a lot of racers in so maybe they will have more bike programs. My friend and I were just talking last week about Firebird not having enough events for bikes. There is a ton of bikes in this valley, and the riding in the summer is fantastic, its just hard to get people to come out to the track and drag race. They have not started building the new speedway yet but the website is up if you want more information on it. I put the address in the first post.

That would be great, it would be nice to see some new faces at the track. Firebird is only open on the weekends unless its a major event, which kind of sucks. South Boise would be a good spot to live when they open War Eagle. Thanks, and good luck on the move if you come out this way.
