Best seat for long hauls

OK here's the scoop, When I travel for long periods of time(excess of 1 hr), My butt starts to ache. My girlfriend has stated that she would get a new seat for my birthday and I wanted to get something that I count on not to irritate either the passenger or myself. I've been in a toss up between Tobin and Corbin but I want to hear from the people on this board before the purchase. Which seat is the most comfortable for the ZX14?

The corbin is NOT more comfy than the stocker. Period.

We have used a Corbin on the 14 almost from the day we got our 07. I use the stock seat for commuting to work and back since it doesn't have the backrest on it.
I perfer the feel of the Corbin and I don't think I could get my partner on the stock seat if i tried.
we did 6500kms in 2 weeks last summer on the Corbin and had no issues with it.

I have no problem with the stock seat and my commute is an hour or so each way everyday.

Man up!!!!

I'm glad your ass is the standard on which all comfort is judged.

Like most things comfort is subjective. The stock seat for me is not bad, others like the Corbin or Tobin. Go to a bike show and sit on a few to get a realistic idea instead of relying on internet conjecture from people who have not tried them.

No need for you negative ass comments.

I offered my opinion on the the Corbin for the 14. I had one, hated and sold it. It had changed hands twice before me and twice if not more after I sold it. Hard as a fringgin' rock. I think the corbin was shaped more for looks than actual fit like my zx12. I loved the corbin on the 12... it was rock hard, but the shape was perfect.
