Smokin testing a 2008 zx10 ?????????
Yup it's true smokin got a brand new 2008 zx10 ..I didn't get rid off my zx14 but after owning my zx14 for 2 years i was ready for a new ride or toy ....
This thing is nasty !!!! 380 pounds and 170 HP to the tire !!!!! I got it about 3 hours ago and i have allready slamed it and strapped it ....No pipe yet , i'm going to wait to see what Brock pull out of his hat before getting a pipe ...So for now i will run it stock wheel base with stock gears and see what it will run....I was able to run 9.18 stock wheel base with my zx14 but it did have a brocks pipe and street map at the time ....So the only real difference will be the pipe and tune ...My zx14 weighs in race ready 505 pounds so this zx10 should be 100+ pounds lighter ...
Teddy Jesse and myself are heading down to BMP Runday Sunday so we will see what this puppy can do ..I haven't been at stock wheel base in a few years and i got rid of my 2005 zx10 for my zx14 ...Should be a hoot riding this puppy ....  smokin...
P/S Steve can you find an 2008 Honda that i can run over ??? lol..

Well that's a big guess on my part .. If i can ride it and that's a big if i'm thinking low to mid nines.... 170 hp and race weight around about 520 pounds....??? On paper it should be as fast or faster than my zx14 ONLY if i can ride it ...
My goal in time after a pipe,p/c and tune is to break into the 8s on stock wheel base ...It may take a lot of seat time but i think i can do it ... Smokin..

nice looking bike Smokin'. I just can't get into the liter bikes because they change them up sooooo damn much. I really liked the under the tail exhaust of the '06 ZX-10 and then the next year they changed the chit back. WTF is going on with that?
Good luck with that bike and I am sure if anyone can put it to the test, then you will.

that bikes looks awesome. Geuss ill be giving kawi some more money this yr. pay off 1 bike get a new 1. its a problem i got.

Damn they are Ugly but I do want one LOL I think your best at stock wheelbase will be 9.08 that is my guess. 8's is going to be TUFF!!!!!

NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lee I have always said the ZX10 will be king of the "straightline" so whats the comment about, but will it be king of world superbike, superbike meaning braking/cornerspeed/best lap times/road performance/etc :P
and all BS aside I've been throwing that out as debate I'm not brand loyal do you not remember me riding a Kawi this and a Kawi that
