My first ZX-14
Well hello fellow ZX-14 riders. I am new to the forum and new to the Kawasaki world. I will be picking up my new 2008 ZX-14 limited edition (Red & Black) pride and joy in two weeks. I use to own a Suzuki Katana (my first bike) then I decided that it was time to stop playing around and get a bike with real muscle. I have enjoyed the site thus far. I went through the Member's list to see if there were any fellow Kawasaki riders in my area but the list is so long I got tired of searching through the pages. Is there anyone on this forum who live near the Chicago, IL area? Wanted to chat to see where you guys purchased your bikes to see if I am getting a good deal. The dealer is only taking $500 off the MSRP $11,999 and they are giving me $5100 on my trade. Also, wanted to see if there are any nice rides that go on during the spring and summer. I will post some pics when I pick up the bike.

Welcome to the site...I know you no by now that you own the baddest thing on two wheels contrary to the other brands believe......keep reading the forurms to see how you want to set your bike up to get the most out of it.......their is alot in it.....

I bought my 06' from Champion cycle center for 10,100 plus tax&title when i registered it back in Wisconsin. This was late in 06'.
