grabbed the front brake, eh?
2 places NEVER to grab front brake:
- coming outa the water box
- immediately after traps at big end
both places are prime real estate for wet spots
that's why god invented rear brakes

At the big end you need to use (not grab)the front brake at our meetings. About 6 or 7 hundred yards to stop from 200mph. Trick is to ease it on and then brake harder when there's more weight on the front. Also the "air brake" works quite well, sit up at around 150mph and you lose some speed.
Nice roll, hope you were ok creepdog.

Bob,
I definitely use the f brake at the big end, but not immediately after going thru the traps; seen too many f wheel wash outs.
go thru the traps, immediately get on the r brake, sit up for "air brake", then start clamping down on the front.
Cars drop a bunch shit when they get off the throttle at the big end.
