Busa horsepower

Maybe some of you ex-Busa guys might know the answer to my question. What horsepower do you think a 1397cc bore, 13:1 compression, and Yosh drop in cams would be?

My buddy had his done up that way...maybe a little more. It want to say the dyno had him between 210-220. Way too much torque/power. He could never get the power down. Just spun the rear wheel.

I've done several1397s and it's HARD to get much over 200hp with Yosh Stg-1 cams. They just don't have enough lift with the larger bore. One of my friends still has his set up this way and it made 197.3 hp/117.7 ft lbs back in Sept. '07. Runs real good but falls alittle short of the 200hp mark, MR9 may put him there but he can't afford to run that all of the time.

Thanks for all the input. The reason I am asking is a good friend of mine has one and it runs pretty much even with my 14 up until the middle of 4th and then I walk him, slowly. He was dynoed at 196 hp with a tooth down in front. My 14 has an Alien Head system with stock gearing. He weighs 40-50 lbs. more though. I have always heard that the 1397 makes 210hp but know that is hard to get in most cases. What is weird is on top gear rolls I pull him instantly, even when I give him the jump. Lots of fun running that close. Cant wait till the weekend...
