The best way is to go to home depot and buy some "L" brackets. Take off the stock fender, install you plate with the "L" brackets and get a small LED light to light up the plate. I have this light and its barely noticeable and its actually pretty bright. Maybe 25 bucks total with the light costing the most at about $20.

Hey 200, I got the light, but it's smaller than the hole there. How do you install it?

Nevermind 200hp, I figured it out.

They didn't send the nut required with it!!! So....I went to the hardware store. In order to get one on I had to cut the shrink wrap they had on the resistors to fit it over. Then I found the right nut and washer. I came home put it through the little hole and tightened it. I then CUT the end of the wires on the stock light so I can use the connector on it to plug into the one on the bike. I then, used heat shrink to cover the resistors again. After that, I used an electrical clamp to fuse the 2 wires to the connector. Next I plugged it into the bike and used electrical tape to tape it down to the bike. Works PERFECT!! That light is soooo tiny, but yet so BRIGHT!!

Thanks a lot for telling me what to get to create my own homemade eliminator!

Speed Tactics makes a real nice one for $25. It mounts further back so it help with keeping hot rubber and rocks from beating up your lense and paint especially if your using extensions. It's heavy gauge aluminum that has a black oxide finish. Its comes with stainless hardware and uses the stock mounting holes so there is no need to plug holes to prevent water from getting into the electronics under the seat. They sell a nice LED bolt light kit to.

That's a nice set up too bulldog. As for the rubber and road grime, I have a hugger being painted in Taiwan to my '08 blue which should be shipped soon.

Heres mine, used a couple of brackets I had laying around and put in a LED I picked up at Walley World. Wanted it far enough under to negate the overhead cameras that is everywhere these days. Was loaded for a weeks riding the high places in Colorado.
