Which peach?
What ever bike I decide to do it will be turbo.
2005 GSXR1000 3000km totally stock , mint
$8800
I am partial to the zuki, as the maintenance appears easier, and I like the layout.
Better development HP oil pump, relief valve, stud girdle, low profile pan, and parts seem cheaper overall.
Needs stronger rods, and 04 Gixxer clutch set up to accept lock up clutch for turbo project though.
or
2005 zx10r mint 3500 km, all carbon fiber body except tank, with acropvic slip on
$8000
The zx10 has some big$ goodies already, better rods and more suited for a turbo project I am told. Lock up clutch is bolt in.
or
550 RWHP 2003 Busa with RCC Ultra turbo kit, NLR ams-1000, undercut tranny, ape head, ape crank done to the max, carrillo rods, JE turbo pistons with swaintech coatings on the skirt, and piston domes, lock up clutch, lowered and stretched 12".
The turbo kit, boost controller, and engine prep alone would cost approximately $17,000
Billet everywhere, over $30,000 into this bike for $23,000....
Yes built 550 rwhp bike for $23,000!
Clearly the busa is drag prep bike, I want a do it all bike.
the literbikes will cost me over $20,000 when done as well.
Do the a literbike, which one? or buy the busa reduce stretch to +3-6"
??? input ?
Help, I'm undecided

Keep in mind I am looking for a do it all turbo bike, and primary reason for considering the literbikes is their size, weight, and handling.
All the reasons the 14 is for sale. Busa seems backwards in that perspective, but damn what a deal, and the power! LOL
come on you dead beats! LOL
lets hear it!

would've made a great poll! I like either of the litre leaners, and obviously HP isn't an issue here

If you're dumping the ZX for a Busa and bitching about the weight and size, wait till you get on the Busa. It's a truck by comparison -- I had 2, so I'm not talking out of my ass...
Gixxer -- and 8800 is huge money here for that bike -- are they pampered miles?

Left over 2007 liter bikes go for $11,500, and $13,000 new 08's.
Doods, if you can find me a black/ orange or blue/ white still in the crate gsxr 1000 for that I will buy it.
They don't even need to uncrate it, except ot inspect for damage prior to shipping to me...as warrantee is null here when imported anyway, and I need to have it shipped!
I'll even throw ya $400 finders fee!

If the GSXR is a K5, then try and get a look at some Ghost Rider clips.... Utube has a few running around.
That's what he uses and if he's doing some of those runs, as he does, then i don't doubt the strength of the motor, it's handling ability, it's turbobility (new word! LOL!!!!), and general heritage as great 1K all rounder bike
BTW, i'm not commenting on what he [GR] does.

Jack we have seen some of the decisions you have to make... LOL which one of my badass custom bikes should i ride today? wish I had to make a couple of those decisions LOL Dubious if I were going to rurbo a bike it would definatly be a suzuki it has a much better aftermarket with way more choices. I will do some checking around here but I can probably find you a new K7 orange and black for less than 9000 american but I have no idea how much it would cost to get shipped! I know I can get you an 07 zx10 CHEAP new and my dealer ships bikes out of the country all the time!

I can pick up an 06/07 zx10 cheap, but nobody makes a lockup clutch for them yet, and with the new 08 out, they probably never will now.
I have been trolling every damn forum and e-classified for a steal, but nobody desperate enough is selling them there.
Ethan Barkly just emailed me back. He is Western Canadian drag race champion 5 yrs running in pro street and street, has been building / running GSXR 1000 turbo, and will assist with my build.
That kind of LOCAL support is literally priceless.
His quickes on our poorly prepped cold canadian tracks has been 8.01 at ~178 mph on GSXR1000 turbo.
He tells me we could build a motor good for 500HP, that would take 250-300 HP as reliably as a stock motor!
Now that I have that kind of support, I just need a mint low mile 2005/2006 gixxer 1thou!
