timing curve

Does anyone know the stock timing curve for the '06? Also does the timing change per gear? At what throttle position is the timing retarded and in what gears?

5th gear curve is optimum, the flies and timing are retarded :P
no seriously timing is retarded in 1, 2, 3 gears, and top end of 6th gear.
more so in 1st, and less retardation as you shift up.

There is no way to adjust the timing without a TIC or a ignition module other then the little timing sprocket that muzzy makes but the TRE has no effect on timing

I've heard +4 degrees works really well in the lower gears of the 14. Makes sense, my 12 loved the 4 degrees advance. Again, I was using the static Muzzy advancer on my 12. I'm not messing with the timing on the 14 until I can have it done by someone that knows what they are doing.

You've got me wrong, I just need to know what the timing curve is. I'm not changing anything as of right now, and when I do, I'll do it with a ignition module from dynojet. I just wanted to know about the retard in the lower gears and lower throttle positions. It seems to be a pain in the ass how they do this.

Matt, the TRE tells the ecu that the bike is in 5th which is the best ignition and flies in timing curve.
The tre effects timing by using 5th gear ignition timing map.

I have TRE 006A and have slotted my pickup to an estimated 4 deg advance.
