At the Atlanta bike show i heard many more negative comments on the 10 and the rr than positive.I personally didnt care for the looks of either. The nose of the 10 is plain wierd like there is 5 different pieces that dont match and like HDLsaid, the mirror stalks looked like a complete after thought.Supposed to be a burner though and in the long run, thats counts a lot.

i think both bikes looked alot better in person than in pics. the new zx is a total beast and is pretty much race ready. imo the new honda looks about 1000 times better than the old model, the real question with that bike is it another gutless pos honda or did they give it some balls. if i were in the market for a litre bike (which i'm not) i would most likely end up with a gsx.

I'm betting its the quickest in a straight line, not sure if it will win the performance shootouts though. Its a great time to be a motorcycle consumer for sure!

Steve all you did was give us 1 picture of the front? If you want true comments why didn't you post pictures of it from all angles in the garage?

Kawi doesn't leave enough plastic around the well nuts to change over to dzus from the looks of it... I will have to buy some nut plates and see for myself... but the standard is 1"x1" plate, too big for the tabs on the stock plastic from the looks of it.
Are the yamaha nut tabs smaller?
I should patent some 1/4 turn well nuts... and inserts you lock into standard nuts, with permanent thread locker, then evreything could be 1/4 trun dzus screws for the bodywork...
hmmmm....

I use tiny tabs on my race plastics. keep in mind they're track plastics I use and abuse and don't care about scratches, paint and such. but anyway, you can see how tiny the tabs are they twist into by this pic:

The ones on your bike do look tiny.... just like what I'm after
this pic is from the link above,

pic says 25mm x 25mm= 1inch by 1 inch.
your look more like 15mm x 15 mm.... which is what i need.
a guy could have used them on the zx14 passenger cowl!
where did you get the exact ones on your CBR?
do you have to epoxy them to the body or anything?
hook me up!

if worse comes to worse I'll ask around, I think Eric ordered the ones on my bike......the dude on the 771 bike in my avatar

Is this picture without the signals on the mirrors, and those are the holes I see, or are they some different signal with tiny LEDs or something? Can't really tell.

All green toys in that stable. I like the new 10 except for the pipe and the black on the fairing. All green or all black IMO..

I believe the pic is from a European show somewhere. The blinkers are from Kawasaki Accessories along with the tinted Double Bubble screen.
