My story was early in my riding career, it was 1993 and I just bought a new Kawasaki ZX-6 black and green. I did not ride then nearly as much as I ride now so I was a bit more cautious to where I would park, well I figured the bike parking was closer (way closer) than regular parking so why not. As I came out of class there was this kid sitting on my new baby....he was a big kid and at the time I might have been 145 lbs wet. I screamed "Hey get the hell off my bike" and the bounced off the bike and ran away. I always used the centerstand thank God I was afraid he may have knocked her over getting off her. To this day cover my bike with a bike cover...people ask me why I cover my bike and I reply the sun is a killer on paint but you all know the real reason....

Imagine for a moment Louie De Palmer yelling at one of the cabbies on Taxi....Yea that's the ticket.

"Stop THIEF!!"

Damn, I wish I would've thought of that, but I was seeing red at the time.

Nothing wrong with firing warning shots over here after the perp has been plugged apparently.

Just remember for next time - yell "stop thief" once they're on the ground :P

A long time ago I was a subcontractor for Homo-Depot. At the time I rode an old Honda 750 when it was in season. Anyhoo... I was set up in a store setting up displays and I had a small tool box along with my helmet and some other gear near the area that I was working in and my helmet and gear were tucked away, out of sight on a shelf just behind where I was working. I went outside to take a quick smoke break and when I came back, there was this teenage kid ( as tall as I was no less, not some little punk ) wearing my helmet and putting on my gloves. I stood back and watched for about a minute before I walked over to him from behind and PUNCHED HIM IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD !!!!

Granted, he was wearing my helmet so I didn't hurt him one bit, but the sound it must have made inside that helmet scared the crap out of him. He turned around and looked at me like a deer caught in headlights. I (in a medium tone) said/yelled at him "What the hell are you doing??" He started stammering " Uh, UH Uh, UH," I repeated it again then said take it off now. He said sorry about 35 times, and I told him that if it's not yours, don't touch without asking first. I hope he learned something from the whole thing. It amazes me how stupid the youth of today are at times.

Was parked in a store parking lot and came out to find this senior citizen in bib overalls holding his 3 year old grandson on my bike. As I walked up to the bike the guy says HOPE YOU DONT MIND ME LETTING MY GRANDSON SITTING ON YOUR BIKE. Told the guy he probably shouldnt touch anyones bike without their permission but no big deal. Couldnt get too mad at the guy or the kid.

you got me thinking about those harley guys. next time i see a guy on my bike i will yell " stop thief" as i run toward him. now the burden is on him to explain to you and maybe the cops why he was apparantly ready to ride away on YOUR bike. i am not inclined to nor recommend popping anyone, but if you see a guy on your bike, it is a logical conclusion he may in the process of stealing it. however in this day of ambulence chasers you might get your life saving taken by the jerk and his lawyer.

Politely point your gun at him, yell "Thief!", and then shoot him between then eyes.

Never had it happen, I am sure it would support a knee jerk reaction with my fist landing across someone’s jaw. If it’s a big dude he gets my helmet across his jaw. If he is even bigger still I will pick something up and whatever it may be will land across his jaw... Shit I have never sat across the hood of someone’s car?! I don’t go around opening doors and sitting in their car?! You pick up thousands of someone’s pride without permission you just asked to get your freaking jaw broke.... I carry one of those fridge magnets in my jacket pocket to cover the tag with so that I do not have to worry about life’s little lessons. I used to keep a strip of duct tape on the inside of my jacket but discovered how usefull those little lawyer ads stuck to your phone book can be... Nothing illegal about kicking the ass of some dude trying to steal your property..

I use to work at PetSHART (terrible, corporate fascist company of money grubbers) and some kid was sitting on my ZX14 on 06 like 2 days after I bought it new. I lifted the kid by his head off of my bike and plopped him on the ground. I went off on the kids mother about not seeing me sitting in her kid's car seat in the back seat of her car. I was so pissed. Kids are easy to lift! Ears are good to pull, too!

I live in Orange County, and the people here are not worthy to breathe the air. They are even stupider than the STD infected gold diggers on Real Housewives of the OC. They drive worse, and have even worse senses of responsibility and respect. I used to yell at people for touching my bike. Luckily, I parked it right infront of the store glass, in a corner, where I could see it all the time from inside. People must have touched it, twisted the throttle a dozen times.

I am going to knee someone in the balls and put my thumb in their eye the next time I see someone on any of my bikes, and yell STOP THIEF.

Got on bike rode away.
Big guy on ground, his girl freakin.
saw Cat 3 months later in a bike shop.
He asked if I remembered him.
"Yup, Want more?"
His bigger buddy laughed and said , "This is the weasel that laid you out?!!"
I'm scared shitless and ready to go down kicking knees and throats.
The big guy laughed again and told his buddy that He didnt want to see helmet boy get his butt kicked again and dragged him away.
Turned out the bigger Cat was the Sargent at Arms for a Local Biker Club.

I had no idea so many people would have such a disregard for someone else's property. I'm glad I have mostly had the fortunate option to garage my bike at home and at work. I don't use the 14 to do many errands because it's not equipt to carry any cargo. If I do leave it in a lot, I am going to have a cover along from now on. That seems as much as can be done to disuade joy-sitters without going all the way to an alarm.

I like elderly people. I really like little kids that like my 14, too. One thing I've learned about old folks, they're real nice when you help them out, but if there's ever an accident, they ain't so nice anymore.

When I was younger, I caugt a few people sitting on my first ZX-12R. I'd say get the fuck off my bike, and they'd say sorry.

Nowadays I'm a lot less confrontational, so I'd probably just ask to get off my bike and mention to them that they wouldn't like it if they came out and found someone sitting in their car.

Only caught someone on my bike once, 2 buddys & I came out of a bar and walked to where our bikes were parked & some douche bag was sitting on mine racking the throttle. I asked real nice to get the f.... off my bike & he responded with F...Y... so I felt compelled to connect my helmet with the side of his head. He dropped like a rock & we rode away. No lawyers, cops or problems.

Used to bartend at a place that was a service station years before, still had 2 overhead doors that we would open on nice evenings. Guys liked the idea of being able to see the bikes, my 68 SS427 impala on one side, half dozen or so yuppie punks w/daddy bought, fat tire custom harleys parked on the other side .When I notice their drinks on my fender!! I thought about it a few seconds , against my better judgment of knocking heads together... just walked out there with my drink ,plopped my ass down on one of their bikes and used another one for a footstool. sat my drink on the tank , just to give them a little taste, They freaked out until i explained to them , the table they were using was my owned since i was 17 numbers matching 427 car i fucking kill you for . And yes it did need painted again, so they said they did not notice what it was.... Point still not made , if it not your keep your hands off. tried to explain to them had it been the local bikers that frequent the place and they did this it would not have turned out so good for them.
Hour later the local MC shows up and it long one of these punks is sitting on someones chopper, just to see how it felt, is what he said,, well he and his friends found out how it felt,,nuff said.
