06 14 vs 08 busa
Just wanted to let everyone know the 14 is KING. Thats 06, 07, and i know 08 has to be.
Went to the local strip today and tested my 06 14 against a 08 busa. Man let me tell you,
I know everone says it comes down to the rider. I witness that first hand. Both bikes are stock as i write this. The guy on the busa has been raceing for years, and me well maybe about a year in time frame of months not seat time. We lined up and we decided best out of 3. He crushed me off the line twice and that was that. Even though he beat me both time i knew if i had more time under my belt i could have won. So he went to talking shit i knew no kaw could beat a suzk. So i told him i might cant beat you right now but this bike can beat that busa. They laugh and he say man this bike comes from the factory close to my bult busa at home in hp. So i tell my brother to get on it and race him. Everyone there know him and has raced my brother on his bikes and they know he can ride, and he still has less time than the guy on the busa so its not a ringer situation. Any way they lined up and it was on. My brother and my 06 14 beat him to the line both times. You should have seen it him and his little fan club was crushed. Again the 14 is the baddest mofo out to me man. You just got to ride that beast.

its all rider now. before 2006 busa was king. 2006-2007 zx14 took the crown. Now it's a coin flip with the same rider.

no dont have time slips because we was on an off street. but i do have some bs film that someone recorded for me but he was more into watching than filming. I will try to post it in a day or two. I have to get the cam from my bro.

my bad i did say strip, i ment to say street. we dont street race often. we just wanted to see witch was faster.

Well -- the gap's getting closer all the time. All of these liter bikes run 9's now...so how long till they run 8's with same as the big bore mods?

i don't know what kind of motor work was done or not....but these were drag bikes and 05 zx10 and a 07 zx10 both ran mid 8's no N2O or turbo ...freaking amazing .....the fastest turbo busa i seen that day racin ran 8.30's

The 06 07 zx10 with a rider my weight ran 8.90s ..I have seen it done by two fellow zx10 riders... That's only a tenth off my Avg number of 8.80s......That's why i ask what the hp numbers were 08 Vs 07 zx10s ......If there is a gain of 9 to 10 hp over the older zx10 then the new 08 zx10 could run 8.80s ...Who knows it may run faster than that 
I would sure like to ride one and see what's up !!!!

im not doubting it will be fast,but think about this!in prostar the 1000's have to has the heads milled cams degreed along with every other mod thinkable except power adders and boring to run what a big bore bike does with bolt on's.now i know the big bikes are longer but do you think if you took a litre bike and extended it the same lenght with the same mods and rider would run faster times?

Normally aspirated...No replacement for displacement...and torque is key in a drag race.
