True Street Set-up!
There is a new class in which a lot of people are considering running in called True Street for the Mirock series! With my weight, My 14 is only allowed to be 60 inches in this class. Now this class will be producing some on average, 8.4 sec bikes! Now the plan I have finally come up with is building a big stroker motor with maybe a 2 mil bore and a 4to 5 mil stroker and a big shot of motivation (nitrous). I am for a 8.2 second bike. This is so hard cause the bike will be short and the electronics/ bike mods you can do are so limited. It means true street! What other combinations would you go with? There are stage 1 turbos allowed, big motors, and nitrous bikes. Light weights on big bikes are 60 inches, middle weights are 62 and heavy can go to 64 inches or something like that! I talk to Lil Richard Gadson and he plans on running a Gixxer 1000 capable of producing 8.2s and he is a rider that can get it done! Open for suggestions!

Turbo's will win the championships, due to the amounts of torque, horse power produced and being controlled by the Electronic Management Systems as in the NLR system...
I like all motor bikes, but I feel they are no match for the turbo's with the NLR system!!!

Now that is a good point but the turbos are only stage 1 turbos so they are very limited. part 2 a Big motor 14 plus nitrous is very capable of running just as hard or harder than a stage 1 turbo bike! Due to the fact of the bike being stronger on the jump and having the gas to pull you through the traps! The managent systems are limited as well! This will really be a rider class!

I was thinking about building a 14 for this class as at first it was going to be aplace where average e t racers had a pro place to play without a second mortgage! Now don't get me wrong i know this type of racing cost money but this class won't be any cheaper for the guys that have big motors or nitrous because of the turbo bikes. At first when jason was writing the rules they were not allowed and i thought it might be worth looking into. I even made suggestions when they were asking for the riders thoughts, I have nothing against turbo's i have built and raced them,Theres nothing like the rush on the boost but take more tuning and maintanace then some of the younger guys think and you had better know your shit when tunning them. Its like rocket said it will be a turbo class any body want to put money on it? bill...

I'll try a stage 3 turbo with "BabyGirl"! Hell Look at what Chi Town Hustler Did to Wig Splitter and Wig splitter is the record setting turbo bike that ran a 7.2 at 204 mph. Chi Town Hustler is all motor!

if you are going stroker and putting a big shot on it i would stay with stock bore. Talk to Adams about it.
good luck!!

Nightmare I too would go turbo, even at a stage 1 it will be easier to run consistantly fast times with a turbo and boost controller than on that big of a straoker at 60in. and fyi I would be willing to bet when the chi town hustler ran wig splitter wig splitter didnt run anywhere near a 7.20 I heard a lil rumor that wig splitters pass that race was a 7.80 and chi town hustler ran a 7.75

I'll Show you how I do it! Bone stock motor, footshifting, pump gas, 62.5 inches.
Turned a 1.38 60ft
with a 5.75
I know I give props to Lee and Jesse but they were both airchifting on race gas and most recent passes were on Nitrous! And they are both Longer than me!
Now these boys can ride their azzes off but so far, I haven't been beat with this set up or by anybody on other equal bikes! They also have a big boy class for either 200 and up or 250 and up that you would dominate in!
Wait till BabyGirl comes out for the 08 season!

I plan to try and make it out to some of Jason's seminars and since you are that fast footshifting, maybe you coulda gave me some pointers while using my airshifter though.

Cool but not on pump gas! As for the race thing, Black majic said sounds like a challenge Lee! I have never really called you out fur to the respect I have and the appreciation for all the advice you give but it was like he was testing me to see If I would back down to you. I will go toe to toe with Rickey Gadson and have told him that before. I was simply stating my facts and nothing else but he threw your name in the air! I know you can get down for show so like I said, not calling you out but If I am approached with a challenge and you are the Jockey, I will rise to the occasion!
