Muzzy exhaust for 08
Hello everyone,
Happy New Year.
I have followed the talk about the new M14 Muzzy exhaust (anyone seen pictures yet?) and have been looking forward to seeing if the changes to the M14 carry over to the rest of the Muzzy exhausts for the 08. Different head pipe diameter or length etc.
I noticed recently that the Muzzy on-line catalog now lists that all the Muzzy exhaust products are now for 2006-2008 ZX 14's. It looks to me that they are saying the same exhaust system works for all the years with no changes for 08.
I am looking for light, titanium, and a full system as I carry a passenger and I think that a short system would make her deaf soon. Not to mention melt her right boot.
If Muzzy doesn't think that the system needs to be changed to get the best out of the 08 does anyone know if any of the aftermarket companies are changing the design of their pipes for the 08?
I have waited to see what changed for 08 but if nothing is going to change then I may as well buy while the market is quiet and before the price of titanium goes up again.

We have two new systems for the 08 ZX-14. Both are designed for competition. I am not aware of any other full titanium systems for the 14. We have done extensive testing and feel that the 06-07 full systems are also the best for standard motor, street use on the 08. The new M14 is designed for Super Sport Drag racing and Big Motor street/Race applications. The Pro Stock Sidewinder is for Drag Racing only and allows maximum lowering. Can be used with the MUZZY Dry Sump pan as well as the Adams Billet Pan.

Thanks for the info Rob, I will be using the system on a mainly stock motor for street use so it does sound like the 06, 07 system will do.
Is there a new map for the PCIII for an 08 motor?
My goal for the 14 is to lose some weight so that is why a titanium system. The only other system I have heard of is the Akropovic but it seems to be a limited special order deal.

Ever consider a Leo Vince 4-2-1...?
Reckless:
Many on the forum swear by the brock's pipes and rightfully so. That said, if you want a lightweight, full system that won't make your passenger deaf or melt her boots take a look at these with the carbon canister (the pipe is SS and the canister internals are Ti). Good power and a sound very similar to Brock Gen3 but a deeper tone.
Side view:

Rear view:

And as you can see it can work with a stand if you chose to add one. Retail is around $1100, but you get what you pay for with the workmanship and durability.
Ride safe....

thanks for the good news Rob.
Also thanks to Leovince for the pictures but I just think Muzzy when I say Kawasaki. I have thought that way since I owned a GPZ 550.
