How many links?
I got a great price on some 6 inch extensions for the 14. How many links does the chain need to be to run out the full 6inch? I've tried searching the forum but didnt have any luck.

Don't know but many of the bolt-on can't use the full extention IF you want to maintain the rear brake. You may want to check before you get too excited about the 6 inches.
The brake support will only work out to about 4 inches. hope you got the good ones that go all the way back.

Stock is 116 links...Pitch on a 530 chain is .625 inchs pin to pin.
So... 6" / .625 = 9.6 * 2 = 19.2
So....A 6 inch extension wiil require 19.2 links with stock gearing, add or subtract your gearing selection +1 for one tooth bigger rear and so on...
Here is some info on spockets and chain http://www.gizmology.net/sprockets.htm

Buy a 140 pin chain and you'll probably use about 134-136 pin with 1 down in front sprocket and 2 up in rear sprocket...

I had mine at 6.5 inch stretch, 1 tooth down in the front and 3 up in the back. I put it back stock after the racing season was over with. I got an aftermarket 150 link dragchain for this setup. I can't remember how many links I removed, but it wasn't many. Be careful on the street, traction in 2nd and 3rd is hard to come by
